MISS KIEV CONTEST IS BACK AFTER A 2-YEAR RECESS

In the capital city, Miss Kiev Beauty Contest was held for the first time since 2011. 15 contestants competed for the name of the capital’s most beautiful girl, the majority of which where the students aged between 17 and 22. The first challenge of the contest program was defile in the image of Christmas tree toys: red length dresses and styled hats. Then followed a march on swimming suits, after which the jury selected eight best contestants.

The specialty of the show was the question and answer challenge. The young ladies were asked about their plans for the night after the contest and how they slept the night before it; what men they’d like to see at their side and what literature they read.

The hosts of the event were the now renowned   Karolina Ashion and a young emcee   Artur Ignatenko.

The First Beauty title was won by the 18-year old student of the Law Department at Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University, Alina Rabcheniuk from Rovno. The First Vice-Miss title was bestowed upon Aleksandea Timonina, the Second Vice-Miss title was won by Aleksandra Goncharenko, and Natalia Sitkovskaya became Miss Photo. Miss Kiev will present the city in the all-Ukrainian and other beauty contests.
