Miss Ukraine at the charity event The Heart Fund Generous People Gala 2016

On May, 16 on the fifth day of Cannes Film Festival, the charity event The Heart Fund Generous People Gala 2016 took place at Carlton Hotel. The event was organized by the Charity Foundation The Heart Fund and Ukrainian supermodel Alina Baykova. During the event, the charity auction was held. All money from the auction are directed to help children with heart diseases.

Among the guests of the event were such famous stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Paris Hilton, Icon, Toni Garrn, Victoria Silvstedt, Hofit Goland and others. Four applicants for participation in Miss Ukraine final presented Miss Ukraine National Committee: Alla Merzhan, Nina Krohmalyuk, Alyona Belova and Valeria Shatskaya. The criteria for the selection these girls for this important trip were English knowledge, communication skills and charisma. The delegation of the National Committee was headed by casting director Elizaveta Chepel. National Committee took part in the charity dinner with the aim to establish cooperation with The Heart Fund for potential joint implementation of charitable projects in Ukraine aimed to help children with heart diseases.
